AURA

Brand & UI Design, Concept

Designing the brand and digital product experience for a audience that seeks quality, originality, and personality in their space.

Project Overview

This project was created as part of the 10k Designers UI/UX Cohort.

I noticed a common problem—most available options are either template-based, low-quality, or overpriced with limited variety.

To solve this, I imagined Aura—a D2C app offering minimal, modern, high-quality frames created by professional designers and artists.

Market Research & Observations

I explored both online and offline frame stores to understand the current offerings. Most options were template-based, mass-produced designs with little uniqueness, while premium frames were often expensive yet lacked variety.

This highlighted an opportunity for a modern, design-driven platform that offers curated, high-quality frames.

The Opportunity & Solution

This research highlighted a clear gap—while there are many options in the market, most either compromise on design quality or are overpriced, indicating an opportunity for a better solution.

That’s where my app concept, Aura, comes in:

  • Curated Artwork by Professional Designers → Ensuring every frame feels unique and premium

  • Wide Variety of Styles → Covering different moods, spaces, and personalities

  • AR Preview Feature → Helping users visualize how a frame would look in their own space

  • Modern, Minimal Brand & UI → Making the entire experience feel seamless and premium

Brand Strategy & Logo Concept

The name Aura was chosen to reflect the emotional and atmospheric impact that art brings to a space. It evokes a sense of presence, energy, and personality — exactly what the brand aims to deliver to users’ workspaces.

The logo is a fusion of three key elements:

  • The letter ‘A’ as a bold monogram

  • Radiating lines that symbolize a vibe or aura

  • A rectangular frame representing the product itself

Visual System

Aura’s visual language blends warmth, happiness, and calm, designed to elevate any workspace. Paired with the modern Geist typeface, the system feels expressive yet clean.
